Red Frogs is a support program for young people between the ages of 15 and 25 that recognises the culture of young people is dominated by alcohol, and excessive consumption of alcohol and other substances can lead to dangerous and life-altering behaviours.

Red Frogs make it their mission to provide a positive peer presence in alcohol-fuelled environments where young people gather, educate young people on safe partying behaviours, and promote and provide non-alcoholic and/or diversionary activities that engage young people in these environments.

Red Frogs core values are serving, integrity and relationship.

Early in 2010, Trav and Em Fitch chatted with their friend Allison about what it might mean to give back to their local community, especially around Balga/Westminster. With all three passionate about investing in young people the way people had invested in them, the room filled with purposeful words and innovative ideas. It was these mere words that created a new reality — 12 Buckets.

The 12 Buckets program is delivered to local Perth children identified by their school as being at-risk or disadvantaged and it focuses on 12 areas, which fall under responsibility, community, mastery and generosity, deemed important for overall well-being.

The ‘bucket’ represents the underlying philosophy that fullness in life comes when you pour yourself out for others.
